Season 6
Overview
Maharaja Lawak Mega 2017 has returned again with the theme "Empire of Lawak" and features 15 joke pirates from 3 countries namely Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia to find another new champion comparable to the previous champions namely Osbon (2011), Jozan (2012), Sepahtu (2013), Zero (2014) and Bocey (2016). In this edition, two former champions namely Zero and Bocey also competed again on the MLM 2017 stage. Starting 17 February 2017, every Friday on Astro Warna (132) and Astro Mustika HD (134) channels.

1. Week 1
Free theme. Mad Sabah was selected Man of the Match. No elimination.
2. Week 2
Theme was "Habits". Dzawin was selected Man of the Match. Mamu and Hobit were eliminated.
3. Week 3
Theme was "Vacation". Syaiful Zero was selected Man of the Match. Mad Sabah was eliminated.
4. Week 4
Theme was "School Days". Shahrol Shiro was selected Man of the Match. Pistol was knocked out.
5. Week 5
Theme was "Extraordinary Jobs". Tauke Nice was selected Man of the Match. Danial was eliminated.
6. Week 6
Theme was "Musical Comedy". Rahim Joras was selected Man of the Match. No elimination.
7. Week 7
Theme was "Very Persuasive Words with guest artists" who were Jaafar Onn (Shiro), Nadia Brian (Nice), Issey Fadzlisham (Dzawin), Adam Corrie (Bocey), Elly Mazlein (Puteh), Ozlynn Waty (Zero), Farahdhiya (Abioso), Dato' M. Daud Kilau (XOXO), Syamel (Masin), and Lilian Tan (Joras). Acong Nice was selected Man of the Match. XOXO was eliminated.
8. Week 8
Theme was "Karoot Komedia themed proverb". Ropie Nice was selected Man of the Match. Nice was eliminated.
9. Week 9
Theme was "Folk Stories and Modern Stories". Vicha Masin selected Man of the Match. Joras was eliminated.
10. Week 10
Themes were "Accented Horror Story" and "Viral". Jiggy Masin was selected Man of the Match. Abioso and Masin were eliminated.
11. Week 11
Themes were "Parody" and "Money". Abam Bocey was selected Man of the Match. No elimination.
12. Final Week
Held at Dewan Wawasan Jitra, Kedah. Themes were free and "Musical Comedy". Syaiful Zero was selected Man of the Match. Bocey was crowned champion, Shiro in second place, and Dzawin in third place.
