Tales of the Riverbank

The first of this new series of films introduces the Hamster, who Is a newcomer to the miniature world of the Riverbank. He meets the Wise Old Frog and makes friends with Roderick the Rat, who takes him on a very exciting fishing trip

Hammy is unjustly accused of stealing Mrs. Hen's eggs, but with the help of the Guinea Pig and Roderick the Rat he is able to find the real culprit.

Roderick the Rat and the Hamster give a party, at which the Guinea Pig arrives in a most unexpected fashion

Autumn comes to the Riverbank and Hammy and Roderick begin to feel restless. When Guinea Pig offers them a ride in his jeep, Hammy is delighted, but Roderick is not so happy

Mr. Turtle shows the Hamster a strange craft drifting downstream, and it isn't long before Hammy makes himself a brand-new home

All the animals run away when they hear that the Skunk has come to stay in their neighbourhood. As usual, it is left to the Hamster to make friends with the new arrival.
