In Chicago, Kirby joins The Bloc, a boxing club and mentor service. Kirby, training to be a coach, learns that through the discipline of boxing, the Bloc helps kids get their schoolwork as strong as their punches.

Kirby travels to Key Largo, Florida to join Island Dolphin Care, a dolphin therapy organization. After a long day preparing their food and their medicine, Kirby finally gets to meet the dolphins. On the last day, Kirby sees dolphin therapy in action.

In Trenton, New Jersey, Kirby’s ready for a day at the circus. But he’s not just there to watch. Kirby works with the kids at the Trenton Circus Squad to prepare his circus skills in time for the final performance.

In Los Angeles, Kirby joins CoachArt, a group matching up kids in medical families with mentors. After trying out a few different mentoring options, Kirby finds just the right kids to mentor. Together, they create a creative surprise for their mom.

Kirby goes to Amarillo, Texas to join the Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Kirby helps clean the badger pens, feed the owls, and give medicine to a vulture. After a hairy encounter with a possum, Kirby releases it back to the wild.

In Hollywood, Kirby joins No Limits for Deaf Kids, a unique organization helping children with hearing loss and their families. Kirby sees a chance to write a play for the kids to perform at their graduation ceremony.

In Salt Lake City, Kirby joins Cars that Care, a non-profit that collects donated cars, repairs them, and gives them away to mothers who need transport. Kirby learns how to repair a car, and makes his fair share of mistakes along the way.

In New York, Kirby joins GlamourGals, a group organizing makeovers by young women for senior women. Kirby tries to throw the most glamourous party he can, organizing decorations and music, as well as learning the intricacies of nail polish.

Kirby travels to San Diego to join Icing Smiles, a group making special cakes for medical kids and their families. The plan is for a pretty big cake, so Kirby and the team have to work pretty quick to get it done in time.

In New Orleans, Kirby joins SOUL, a group replanting trees the city lost in Hurricane Katrina. Kirby learns firsthand what the devastation of Katrina did to New Orlean’s tree population, and how it is still felt years later.
