Overview
The ordinary life of 17-year-old otaku Hajime Nagumo is disrupted when he and his classmates are summoned to a fantasy world and tasked with saving mankind. While his classmates are gifted with impressive abilities useful in combat, Hajime is belittled for only gaining an inferior transmutation skill that lacks any real offensive power. During an expedition in the Great Orcus Labyrinth, Hajime is betrayed by one of his classmates, plummeting him to the bottom of an abyss. Though he survives the fall, Hajime is faced with menacing monsters and misfortunes that send him spiraling into a grim nightmare. Desperate to live and return home one day, he resolves to fight for his survival—only to meet an imprisoned vampire he names Yue, who is also seeking to escape the labyrinth. Taking an interest in him, Yue and a few others along the way accompany Hajime on his journey to find a way back home, while steadily transforming from commonplace to the world's strongest.

2. Pandora's Box
Hajime's classmates struggle with the aftermath of Hajime's fall. Hajime descends even further into the Labyrinth, where he makes a fateful encounter.
3. The Golden Vampire Princess
Hajime and Yue descend deeper into the labyrinth, discovering one another's stories along the way.
4. Guardian of the Depths
Hajime and Yue encounter a powerful foe in the deepest depths of the Labyrinth. Will they be able to defeat it and find a way out?
5. The Maverick's Lair
A rare oasis lies in the depths of the Labyrinth. There, Hajime and Yue come face-to-face with the specter of the labyrinth's namesake.
6. Worthless Rabbit
After finally making it back to the surface, Hajime and Yue encounter a rabbit girl who claims she's been "waiting for them" -- and needs their help.
7. The Great Reisen Labyrinth
Hajime, Yue, and Shea forge onwards, their next labyrinth in sight. However, the Liberator of this Labyrinth is quite the unusual character.
8. Reunion with the Past
Hajime and the gang reluctantly accept a quest. Their journey north to the town of Ur leads to an unexpected reunion with their teacher, Aiko.
9. Dragon Slayer
Hajime's quest leads him and his classmates into the mountains, where they come across their quarry -- and the huge black dragon attacking him!
10. The Goddess’ Sword
With an army of monsters approaching the town of Ur, Hajime sets a plan into motion to protect the citizens and exalt Aiko as the Goddess of Plenty.
11. The Monsters’ Day Off
After returning to Fuhren, Hajime heads off on a date with Shea, which comes to a sudden close when they stumble on a kidnapped merfolk girl.
12. A Looming Shadow
Hajime's party makes their way back to a familiar location. Deep in the Labyrinth, a new foe threatens the lives of his classmates.
13. The Best at Being the Worst
When Hajime's classmates are threatened by a demon mage to "join or die", it's up to him to rescue them -- whether they like his methods or not.
