Season 1
Retired criminal journalist, Rein de Kort, investigates the dangerous Amsterdam underworld. Romano, Pencil and The Pope rise quickly to take control of Amsterdam's cocaine trade, but jealousy tears their union apart. The Pope joins his old friend, Tatta, to rip off Romano and Pencil. The deal fails, killing two of The Pope's men, and igniting an overdue gang war on the streets of Amsterdam.

Three former friends battle for supremacy in the Amsterdam underworld as they face dangerous new enemies, chase new criminal opportunities and fight to settle old scores.

Season 5
After Romano's death, Pope is determined to disappear abroad and leave the organization in the Netherlands in the hands of his sister Samira. However, Tatta's rip on his 2,000 kilos of coke jeopardizes this whole plan. And with Taxi as a possible star witness, the net around Pope closes from two sides. Does Pope turn to Pencil to help him save his organization? Or can they not let the past rest?
