Overview
At the height of the bubble economy, two bank employees compete to reach the top in a 10-year rivalry. It doesn't help that they share the same name.

1. Episode 1
A rivalry erupts between Kaido and Yamazaki as they work on a financing project for a bank. Little do they know of the harsh fate that awaits them.
2. Episode 2
After investing 3 billion yen into a drug company, Kaido is asked for an additional 500 million. Later, a factory head asks Yamazaki for financing.
3. Episode 3
Yamazaki wants to finance the factory, but an executive rejects the proposal. With the division struggling for more financing, Kaido proposes a plan.
4. Episode 4
Kaido’s father Kazuma asks him for additional funds to prevent a buyout from another company. Meanwhile, Yamazaki is demoted to the Shizuoka Branch.
5. Episode 5
To finance a resort, two companies in the shipping conglomerate decide to switch banks. Kaido voices his concerns about a new venture with his uncles.
6. Episode 6
When Kazuma gets ill and collapses, the shipping company is unable to select a new leader. Meanwhile, Kaido's uncles devise a plan to get more power.
7. Episode 7
Ryoma is chosen to lead the company. As work on the resort begins, Yamazaki and Mizushima discover he’s signed an outrageous contract with his uncles.
8. Episode 8
Taking up a new position, Kaido struggles to deal with the resort's debt. Yamazaki works under Kaido, managing operations with Mizushima.
9. Episode 9
Yamazaki is turned away by Dainichi Beer, while several deals fall apart under Kaido. Tensions on both sides rise as the two Akira's finally face off.
