Overview
In 1844, an idealistic small-town preacher teams up with a wanted outlaw and an adventurous & liberated prairie wife to lead a wagon train west on the Oregon Trail across an American landscape which, much like today, is fraught with both promise and peril.

1. Hittin' the Trail
Small-town reverend Ezekiel Brown enlists outlaw Benny the Teen to lead his people west along the Oregon Trail. Repressed prairie wife Prudence Aberdeen responds to the freedom of the trail, pulling her away from her wealthy husband Todd.
2. Fording the River
The wagon train must ford a dangerous river, leading to a moral struggle between Ezekiel and Benny over the soul of the group. Meanwhile, Prudence and Todd meet hipster pioneers living #wagonlife.
3. Hunting Party
Ezekiel signs up for a buffalo hunting expedition to prove his manhood. Meanwhile, Benny teaches Prudence how to be a bandit.
4. What Happens in Branchwater
The wagon train stops in the sinful town of Branchwater, luring Ezekiel into a night of debauchery and temptation. Meanwhile, Benny finds his favourite saloon has transformed into an inauthentic tourist trap.
5. Meet the Noonans
The wagon train meets a religious group being led West by a holy prophet. Meanwhile, Benny tries to reconnect with his estranged daughter.
6. Independence Rock
The wagon train stops at Independence Rock to celebrate the Fourth of July. While Ezekiel and Prudence try to enjoy the holiday, Benny attempts to reclaim his place as the number one outlaw in the west.
7. White Savior
Benny tries to become a hero to a Native American tribe.
8. Over the Mountain
The wagon train attempts to cross the Blue Mountains, but Ezekiel worries their journey has been cursed by God. Meanwhile, Benny tries to make amends with Trig.
9. Stranded
Ezekiel, Benny, and the farmers face starvation as they try to survive a blizzard. Meanwhile, Todd gets into politics.
10. End of the Trail
The wagon train faces its final showdown.
