Overview
KICKS, the private security company, where Akira Shimazaki works is sold to a large company. New leadership at KICKS is laser-focused on making a profit, leaving Shimazaki unhappy. To stay true to his belief of protecting the weak, he quits his job at the private security company. Akira Shimazaki begins to work for himself as a private bodyguard.

After the Kicks Guard team attracts some favorable press coverage, Akira receives a letter requesting his help from a man convicted of manslaughter.
2. Episode 2
Akira's new business attracts more attention from his colleagues. Later, he receives a big job: protecting Ema Morio, a talented but troubled pianist.
3. Episode 3
To protect her hospital's reputation, Dr. Kasamatsu asks Akira to guard her new patient, an investor whose shady tactics attracted a violent reprisal.
4. Episode 4
Akira receives an urgent request for help from a surprising client. Mayu's coworkers don't like the extra attention she's getting from President Ryu.
5. Episode 5
After someone mugs Seitaro's girlfriend Nagiko, Akira learns that she's been dodging a stalker for months. He and Masaya agree to watch over her.
6. Episode 6
A restaurant owner asks Akira for protection from a malicious landlord threatening to evict her. Dr. Kasamatsu can't shake a troubling memory.
7. Episode 7
Akira meets President Ryu in secret to discuss the recent, troubling police activity. Despite being rivals, the two reach a surprising arrangement.
