For this fourth week of the competition, Cyril Lignac and Mercotte decided to melt the hearts of the 11 amateur pastry chefs with the most irresistible ingredient: chocolate! * Classic revisited challenge: the legendary chocolate lava cake * Technical challenge: the Fedora, a chocolate gem... and Cyril Lignac in the kitchen * Creative challenge: chocolate, the most intense of guilty pleasures!

For this fifth week of the competition, Cyril and Mercotte are offering the most delicious of walks in the countryside! Tarts, nothing but tarts, in all their glory! This week, The Best Pastry Chef celebrates one of France's favorite desserts: the choux bun ! • Test of the classic revisited: the very gourmet religieuse revisited! • Technical test: the infernal swans! • Creative test with chef Jeffrey Cagnes: monumental dessert!
