From dramatic fires and technical rescues to diving missions in the Neckar River and emergency operations in the Odenwald forest – the documentary captures it all with raw emotion and intensity. Thanks to bodycams, viewers get an up-close look at the firefighters' daily routines – not just during high-stakes missions, but also behind the scenes, including their favorite meals and off-duty moments.

Deployment for the fire department: Flames rise between two buildings in the middle of the busy business district. It is almost impossible to stop the spread: window panes burst under the heat, thick smoke penetrates surrounding houses and entrances are partially closed. As there are increasing indications that an underground car park could also be affected, the situation worsens. Also: A paraglider has an accident in the dense forest around the Königsstuhl. A demanding search and rescue operation begins for the fire and rescue services - only with experience and special equipment is there a chance of finding the casualty and taking him to the hospital.
