Traffic officers Steve and Grant set off to attend a vehicle fire, and end up having to shut the entire motorway.

It’s bank holiday weekend and with a heat wave on its way, there are record numbers of vehicles expected on the roads.

Traffic officers Ray and Brian are called to a collision between a truck and car. The car driver is unhurt, but the truck driver is not happy. Meanwhile, fellow officer Simon and team manager Kevin find some illegally parked truck drivers on the side of the M25, and Kevin finds it hard to make himself understood

This edition reveals how outside elements such as weather and animals can make the M25 unpredictable for the many vehicles using it every day.

Traffic officers Andy and Keith are called out on the night shift to remove a cupboard from the carriageway, with the increased speed of the traffic putting them in serious danger. Back in the control room, Emily spots some loose horses causing chaos at Junction 23, while at junction 10 a bridge joint is being replaced and the engineers are in a race against time to get the job done before the sun rises.
