Overview
The Challenge: Free Agents is the 25th season of the MTV reality game show, The Challenge. The season is located in Uruguay and Chile, with former cast members from MTV's The Real World and The Challenge competing. This season marks the first since season 12 that does not include any cast members from The Real World: Austin or the first Fresh Meat challenge. The season follows a new format, featuring each contestant competing in either teams, pairs or for themselves, for a share of $350,000 in prize money.
Episodes
1. Live Free or Die
28 competitors arrive in South America and are shocked to learn that the challenge will be an individual game, forcing players to ditch their usual strategies and fear for what's ahead.
2. Love In The Fast Lane
Close friends fight after a night of celebration; a budding romance ends.
3. You Be Illin'
The house celebrates a fake wedding between 2 flirtatious cast members with a night of bachelor and bachelorette party debauchery. At the bar crawl challenge, everyone is shocked when a player is sent home before it even begins.
4. Inadequate
One player's egotistical attitude creates tension in the house and the competitors literally go head to head to knock out a victory in this week's challenge.
5. Stripes
With strong players falling left and right, a rope swinging challenge proves to be the toughest one yet and allows the group to bravely send two veterans into eliminations.
6. Not So Trivial Pursuits
Tension rises between hot-headed veterans and one cocky rookie, and the competitors are put through the ultimate trivia test as their safety hangs by a thread.
7. Pride Before The Wall
When a rivalry comes to a head, the group is anxious to see whether one player can settle it for good by pulling off either the boldest or most boneheaded move in Challenge history.
8. Strike a Pose, There's Something to It
Drama erupts after a challenger's steamy hookup is revealed, and her romance with another player is in jeopardy when he's voted into eliminations.
9. Best Friends For Never
A friendship is broken apart as the pressure of the game intensifies, and one competitor suffers an unexpected injury that could eliminate all hopes of winning.
10. Talk To The Hand
The winners of this week's challenge face a difficult decision during voting and the result of the Draw pits two tough females against each other in an epic elimination round.
11. The $350,000 Pyramid
The eight remaining players travel to Chile and are subjected to one last elimination twist to secure their spot in the final. As the challenge kicks off in the rough rapids, one team struggles to stay afloat.
12. A Walk In The Clouds
On the last leg of the challenge, the final six competitors face brutal conditions and are pushed to their limits in a race to summit an active volcano and take home the $350,000 prize money.
13. Free Agents Reunion
Can Laurel and CaraMaria ever mend their best friendship? Will Bananas school Jordan on earning his stripes? And just who will Cohutta be asking to the Prom? Plus some hilarious unseen stories, new rivalries, and more.
