Overview
Two Calgary families - the Mooney and the Cottrell/McCarty clans - battle each other to design and build their $450,000 dream homes from frame to finish. But only one family can win.

1. Meet the Families
We meet our two families who will compete on the first My Rona Home. Yellow and Blue are going head to head to win their home, mortgage free. But it’s not going to be easy.
2. The Bedrooms
No sleep till you make your bedroom. Not a lot of sleep for our two families who face their first challenge – complete three bedrooms in thirty hours.
3. The Bathrooms
The Blue and Yellow teams have only 30 hours to finish two bathrooms. Will they get the job done in time?
4. The Family Room
It's the one room everyone like to hang out in, so this had better be good.
5. The Kitchen & Powder Room
If you can't stand the heat, make a better kitchen.
6. The Dining Room & Laundry Room
Keeping it clean in the laundry room.
7. The Living Room
The living room is up this week for our two families. Canadian Olympians Jeff Pain and Helen Upperton join the families in this special episode.
8. The Exterior Finishing
The two My RONA Home teams take the competition outside with the Exterior Finishing challenge. Will the side by side competion raise the intensity? Watch to find out.
9. The Landscaping
How will your garden grow? This is the final challenge for our teams. There will be a lot of strong emotions as they build decks and get their gardens put together.
10. The Finale
At last, we find out which family will be home free.
