As New Year's Eve rapidly approaches, Gary seeks a way of celebrating the occasion with both his wife and girlfriend, in the contrasting timeframes of 1941 and 1995.
3. One O'Clock Jump
Gary tries to rectify matters when his shop's success makes Yvonne depressed at her lack of employment prospects. Plus, he discovers that PC Deadman is unaware that he has a child.
4. It's a Sin to Tell a Lie
Counterfeit money has been in circulation around Royal Oak, which Gary suspects may be attributed to Ron's attempts to sabotage his name.

6. Goodnight Children Everywhere
An evicted Ron is now staying with Gary and Yvonne, and Phoebe's orphaned relatives arrive to move in with her at the Royal Oak.

George Formby turns up at the Royal Oak wanting to record a Beatles song that Gary claims to have written. Consequently, Gary has to find a way of keeping musical history intact.

Yvonne wants Gary to get a sensible job with her new company. Plus, Gary's wartime life seems threatened by a returning hero. Is it time for Gary to make a break from the past?
9. Someone to Watch Over Me
Phoebe is very ill back in the 1940s, so Gary thinks that he may have a solution - but can he really take medicine back in time?
10. The Yanks Are Coming
Gary is put out when the Americans arrive at the Royal Oak, but when there is an outbreak of racial tension Gary takes drastic action.
11. Let's Get Away from It All
Yvonne and Phoebe both want to move home, but it isn't long before moving is the least of Gary's worries.
