The New Dick Van Dyke Show

While preparing for his cousin's wedding Dick accidentally sits on a needle. Extracted in a vehicle on the way to the marriage site the result leads to Dick subbing for the matron of honor.

Bernie and Carol Davis are looking to buy a new home and learn the house next to the Prestons is for sale. Dick and Jenny like their friends but don't necessarily want them as neighbors so they try to secretly sabotage the sale.

Bernie thinks he has come up with an exciting new game show. But when the film a test episode a number of problems surface.

Mike does so well as a guest chef on the local cooking show that she's given permanent hosting duty. However, her cooking abilities are much more limited than she's led the show runner to believe.

Dick's mother brings her father's ashes over to the house so they can scatter them according to his wishes. But somehow during the night, the ashes disappear

Dick and Jenny start to feel old when they think of their child growing up. The Prestons worry increases when they realize many couples in their age group are divorcing.

On his way home on Christmas Day, Dick gets caught speeding and doesn't have enough money to get out of jail. When he calls Bernie to bail him out, he too gets a speeding ticket.

Dick is left in charge of the baby while Jenny and Annie are out of town, but then forgets Chrissy at the grocery store.
