Episodes

1. Here He Is Again
Eleven years after a plane crash, Mick Brisgau reappears unexpectedly – scarred by island life, but determined to reclaim his old life. But no sooner is he back in the Ruhr region than he finds himself under suspicion of murder. With his old friend and colleague Andreas, he fights to prove his innocence – and although he is no longer a police officer, he throws himself into the investigation.

2. Eat Better
An unappetizing murder case brings Mick and Andreas right into the vegan food sector. While Andreas tries to stay sober, Mick's down-to-earth currywurst attitude rubs everyone the wrong way. Injured ex-lovers, bankrupt competitors, and abandoned business partners come under suspicion. But who has a motive for murder – and how far does the web of lies extend?

3. Murder in the Doll Brothel
The red-light district has changed radically in Mick's absence: instead of prostitutes, lifelike AI sex dolls dominate the scene. When the operator Renate Kowalski is murdered, Mick and Andreas investigate a world that appears modernized but harbors old problems: jealousy, shame, and blackmail.

4. The Man with the Mask
The body of DJ “Black Raver” is found in a garbage can. Behind his mask is Leon Heitkämper, who secretly worked as a call boy alongside his career in the spotlight. Despite his anti-drug image, he died of an overdose – or was murdered. What makes this particularly explosive is that Andreas' son Karl was also involved in this scene – and may know more than is good for him.

5. False Friends
Rapper X-Kray stages the death of a police officer in a music video – until the blank cartridge suddenly turns into a real bullet. His friend, the extra Mirko, dies in front of the camera. Mick and Andreas know who fired the shot. But who loaded the bullet into the gun? The trail leads into the world of gangster rap, where image, money problems, and loyalty merge.

6. Hair Splitting
The wealthy Isabelle Lumpp is found stabbed to death in a posh villa. At first, everything points to a robbery-murder, but since there are no signs of a break-in, the focus quickly shifts to the people who had access to the house: her ex-husband, the housekeeper, and the gardener. Mick and Andreas begin searching for clues amid greed, hurt feelings, and false alibis.

7. The Snow White Conspiracy
Colleague Freddie Fröse is murdered at a costume party at the police station. Investigators find a golden apple in his hand. The case takes a fairy-tale turn when four women dressed in Snow White costumes become the main suspects. One thing is clear: the perpetrator must still be in the building, and as the only one who was not there at the time of the crime, Mick must take on the case.

8. Pink Power
Successful influencer and feminist Katinka Bruckner is murdered at the “Pink Power” women's breakfast. And although the murder took place on stage, no one saw anything. The investigation reveals that many people had a grudge against Katinka: offended corporations, frustrated executives, and even her own husband.
