Three Lorries end up being separated from the convoy, when they take a wrong turn in Nad-e-Ali. One of the Lorries ends up in a canal and four young British soldiers have to hold off the Taliban while they wait for back-up to arrive.

Lance Corporal Lisa West and her fiancé Lance Corporal Karl Cracknell are part of a supply group of Lorries into a dangerous part of Afghanistan. The Taliban is not the only enemy; they need to cross the western desert... All with time against them.

The mission is to deliver 15 truckloads of ammunition to camp Price, then the team have to dismantle forward operating base Gibraltar. But with the roads dangerous enough during daylight hours they are forced to travel at night. With the permanent threat of buried IED's, they soon discover that they are being followed by a suicide bomber; the problems are stacking up.

This week they cross a desert, whilst avoiding bombs, and travelling through one of the most dangerous towns on the planet. 82 vehicles that all need maintaining, there are no roads, just mile after mile of soft sand...
