Former EastEnders actor Ross Davidson, who died of cancer in October, is seen undergoing experimental light treatment in an attempt to eliminate his tumour. Meanwhile, a woman with epilepsy has tests to see if she can be helped by major brain surgery and a former athlete suffering from Cushing's disease

A young nanny suffers from repeated epileptic seizures that at one point almost kill her. When conventional drugs fail to control them, Dr Nick Hirsh opts for an experimental course of treatment.
