As the rainy season begins at Shidō Academy, Takumi struggles with anxiety and insomnia, praying for the courage to reveal his hidden feelings to Gii. An accident during chemistry class brings Takabayashi and Yoshizawa unexpectedly closer. Noticing Takumi’s distress, Gii tries to share his burden but is quietly pushed away. When Takumi falls ill, Gi stays by his side without leaving for a moment, though Akaike reminds him not to push too hard. Meanwhile, the misunderstanding between Takabayashi and Yoshizawa is resolved, and Shibata confesses his feelings to Akaike. Takumi and Gi hold hands, confirming their love for each other. However, a letter from Takumi’s mother reveals a new secret about his late older brother.

Takabayashi is relentlessly harassed by his senior, prompting Yoshizawa to lose his temper and punch him, warning him to stay away from Takabayashi once and for all. Meanwhile, Takumi prepares to return home to visit his late brother’s grave and finally confides in Gi about his “fear of physical contact.” The shadow of his brother’s death three years ago reveals the heartbreaking reason behind his struggle to love.
