Forensics: Crash Scene Investigation

Twenty miles from York, a middle-aged man is found dead at the side of a busy country road, having been thrown from his upturned car, leaving veteran crash investigator Steve Kirkbright to uncover what went wrong. Meanwhile, on the A64, a stranded motorist has been hit from behind by a van, and PC Paddy Green must determine whether the driver is at fault.

In the Yorkshire Dales, a car with five young soldiers onboard has crashed in the early hours. Two passengers are trapped with one in a critical condition, possibly paralysed, and another with a broken neck, but the driver is unharmed. In York, Police Control receive a call from the Ambulance service to attend a serious incident involving a pedestrian who's tragically lost her leg after being run over by a suspected hit and run driver.
