BIGBANG: The Beginning

Six ambitious trainees enter the high-pressure world of YG Entertainment, each determined to make it into the company’s next idol group. While G-Dragon (Kwon Ji-yong | 권지용) and Taeyang (Dong Young-bae | 동영배) have already earned their spots, T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun | 최승현), Daesung (Kang Dae-sung | 강대성), Seungri (Lee Seung-hyun | 이승현), and Hyunseung (Jang Hyun-seung | 장현승) face a tough battle to prove they have what it takes. Under the intense supervision of founder Yang Hyun-suk, every mistake is met with harsh feedback, pushing the trainees to their limits. G-Dragon’s natural leadership and Taeyang’s tireless dedication stand out, but the competition is fierce. As the evaluation day nears, the reality sets in: not everyone will make the cut.

the BIGBANG members are thrown into the harsh world of training, and it’s not all smooth sailing. Yang Hyun-suk’s brutal critique of Youngbae (동영배)—calling his style bland—leaves him questioning his place in the group. The tension is palpable, but the members lean on each other, bonding through stories of shared struggles. With inspiration from their senior artists, like Se7en, they slowly start to find their footing — individually and as a group.
