Ramsay Street is set to party for Toadie's 21st with many familiar faces returning for the celebrations. Izzy returns to drive a wedge between Karl and Susan. Can Paige and Jack resist temptation? On the eve of Tyler's trial, instead of going to Toadie's 21st birthday party, Piper surprises Tyler by booking a room for them in a city hotel - then persuades him that they should go on the run.

Lauren's short visit for Gabe's naming day interrupts Paige's gloom after Mark dumped her, they ponder whether she should go for Jack again, who wants to resume dating. Upset to have seen Mishti 'consort' with Leo and Amy, Rafael bumps into Dipi, who drops a tray and threatens him over the top. Passerby Aaron defuses the situation, finds Rafael's wallet and returns it, suggesting a gym visit in vain. The females fuzz endlessly over the naming ceremony. Jack does great, Amy terribly fake-funny, Terese's promise to be there openly sniffed at by Piper, who drives her to get drunk again. Mark turned up but dislikes Jack and Paige looking like a parental couple and leaves before the family picture, leaving a gift for Gabe and a note promising to help him assemble it when old enough. Rafael bumps into David at the pub and delights him by apologizing and offering another date.

A draw couples participants in the dance marathon for Dipi's variety charity project. David is elated to draw fiance Aaron, who advised Mark to go for his heart before Ellie's kissing mood wears off. Cassius can't keep it up with Piper, being forced to admit there was 'some spark' but also bothered by Ned being her sibling and her devotion to Tyler. Amy prods Mark to go for the prize, Paul just enjoys dancing with Ellie with private classy music headphones, but during a break Mark declares being ready to go steady with Ellie, only to be told he must 'convince her', not how. Terese drags Ned home, where she summoned Lauren, to nag about their 'affair' behind Brad's back, resulting in Ned moving to Erinsborough, for now at Terese's and take a hotel porter job, canceling his tattoo shop lease. While driving for a court order and the thus-available paternity DNA test, Toadie and Sindi discuss baby Hugo's insecure future, which she suggests might solve his and Sonya's child wish regardless.
