Mack hears shocking news from his father. Chip convinces Ciji to sign over 25 percent of her earnings to him.

Mack begins life with his new family but must adjust. Gary loses his battle against alcoholism.

Gary spends the night at Ciji's apartment after a drunken binge. Abby makes plans to take Gary's inheritance.

A chain reaction of misunderstandings during the night of Ciji's album launch ends in a disastrous climax.
19. Loss of Innocence
Ciji's body is found on the beach, as Gary awakens from a binge. Laura tells Richard to move out of the house.
20. The Fatal Blow
As his arraignment looms, Gary believes he may have killed Ciji while on a drunken binge.
21. The Burden of Proof
Val confesses to Ciji's murder and goes to jail. Abby fears Val's confession is a trick to win back Gary.
22. Willing Victims
Laura believes Richard left because he's the real killer. Karen tells Diana that Chip was sleeping with Ciji.
