One Shot: Overtime Elite showcases the lives of the next generation of basketball stars as they navigate their pursuit of a professional basketball career. These young men are on the brink of achieving everything they have dreamed of- will they rise to the challenge or will they struggle with the pressure? The Thompson twins are at the top of the NBA draft, which forces everyone to up their game.

Projected NBA stars Ausar and Amen Thompson work to quiet their haters and solidify their draft stock. Small-town TikTok star Eli Ellis joins OTE to prove he can play with the best. Jahki Howard, a gifted athlete, builds animosity toward two of his teammates. Coach Dave Leitao is tasked with managing flaring tempers during a game.
2. Being here is hard
Intense conflict leads to Jakhi's departure from his team. Trey navigates a personal tragedy. Eli tries to earn playing time while the Thompson twins prove they're NBA ready.
3. Minutes aren't guaranteed
Jakhi finds himself in an unfamiliar system on a new team. He navigates this foreign environment leading up to the battle against his former squad. Eli has his mettle tested as he tries to carve out a role on the highly-skilled City Reapers.
4. The Check Writers Are Here
As the first round of the playoffs approaches, tensions flare for the 4-seed Cold Hearts as they face elimination. Rising star Somto Cyril’s emotional path from Nigeria to OTE leaves him desperate for a win against the unbeatable City Reapers. Time is running out for Bryce Griggs to impress scouts before the draft.
5. Path of the Unknown
Jahki returns from suspension and seeks revenge on the Reapers in the Finals. Trey realizes that he may not graduate on time. With the NBA draft looming, Amen and Ausar grapple with the reality of being separated for the first time ever.
6. This Is Our Dream
After the OTE Finals end in dramatic fashion, Amen and Ausar travel to New York to learn their fate in the NBA Draft. Draft hopeful Bryce Griggs works out at Pro Day in a last-ditch effort to impress scouts. Miss Christy hopes that Trey will be able to graduate with the Class Of 2023. Jahki and Eli weigh their futures at Overtime.
