Overview
Celebrity chef and cookbook author, Spencer Watts celebrates sunny days, family, friends and the best food summer has to offer in this all new, fun filled backyard grilling series. In each episode Spencer takes traditional dishes and makes them new again creating unique and fun dishes that viewers can make in their own backyards. Spencer makes four globally influenced, approachable and playful recipes in each episode and has a great time doing it. From hoisin glazed meatloaf boa buns, whisky plank smoked salmon infused with a rosemary garlic oil and smoked meatballs in a Spanish Bravas sauce to the perfect Santa Maria Tri-tip steak, Tikka chicken wings with curry ranch dip and Peanut butter and banana pizza with a jelly swirl! Bring on the face wiping, finger licking goodness with messy and delicious, fall off the bone, soya beef ribs with sesame mayo.

Spencer Watts is inspired to embrace big food for a big barbecue feast. He is making jumbo turkey legs with sticky molasses and a sweet brown sugar mop.

Spencer makes a light chickpea salad with charred halloumi and a cumin vinaigrette. Then, cooking over glowing charcoal chunks, he dresses humble cauliflower in a buttery sumac spice rub and whips up two different dipping sauces - a nutty tahini sauce and a spicy herb-filled Skoug.
