The 4 to 9ers
Season 3
Overview
The stakes ratchet up for The 4 to 9ers in Season Three as Samantha, Seth and Charlie scuffle for the careers they studied for in college (or didn't). Sgt. Doyle finally gets an underling to help patrol the Muskfield Mall but who is this Malcolm Fullilove guy really, and what if anything does he have to do with Samantha getting her shot as a TV reporter, Seth making up with his strong-willed father, or Sgt. Doyle finally moving of his Mom's apartment? All answers (and plenty of laughs) dead-ahead.
Episodes
1. "Life: Fade-In"
Samantha needs an audition tape to wow her boss and get her shot; she and Charlie fish for a new roommate, snag Sgt. Doyle; Charlie’s medschool debt grows as Seth says his folks’ reaction to his no-college vs. Subway job decision was “mixed.” Ya think?
2. "Lights, Camera, Freeze!"
Seth’s new living quarters leave something to be desired and we “meet” the Dad who sent him away; Sam’s audition news piece focuses on millennials just like them as her erstwhile camera crew (Seth & Charlie) argue like they’re Spielberg and Lucas.
3. "Tase Of Our Lives"
Sgt. Doyle finally gets some help in Malcolm Fullilove, a mysterious new Muskfield Mall security hire with a suspicious nature and blurry backstory. Seth edits Sam’s audition tape, which Mr. Stout watches and... well, the rule here is no spoilers, right?
4. "Mommie, Dearest"
Security cam reveals activity in the storage area and it’s not just rats partying after-hours at Burrito Barn. Seth’s Mom makes life rough for the Dad who banished him; Stout tells Sam to be ready “Because news never knows” - whatever the hell that means.
5. "Movin' On-Up"
Sgt. Doyle’s hopes for an ideal room-mate “situation” hang in the balance as an epic confrontation between Seth and his powerful Industrialist-father looms; wanna-be TV reporter Samantha may get her chance to show Stout she’s got what it takes after all.
