Overview
In the most harrowing outdoor adventure competition yet, challengers must rely on a combination of endurance racing, survival skills and intuition as they navigate 150 miles of New Zealand's harshest terrain. From the depths of ancient caves to frigid alpine summits, every step and every calorie is hard-earned. However, strength and speed alone won't be enough to win $500,000. Rather, only those with the strongest will to survive can claim this life-changing prize.

2. Packrafts, Portages, and Pain
The first team is eliminated as the remaining competitors must survive the unforgiving wilderness.

Desperate for food, eight teams battle starvation and brutal weather at the start of race two.
4. Eels, Heels and Deals
Contestants in a race strive to complete challenges and gather scarce resources at a survival camp, resorting to any means necessary to outpace their rivals.

Seven teams commence race 3, but injuries jeopardize their progress in the competition's first half.
6. Death Snail
A potential double elimination threatens the six teams left as they fight to survive race three.
7. Kahurangi Coast
A non-stop race tests the limits of the five remaining teams.
8. A Rule Was Broken
As race four finishes, unexpected events turn the whole competition on its head.
9. Separate Ways
After a shocking exit, the remaining three teams must prove worthy of winning the grand prize.
