3. Holy Ghost Electric Show
Oxford, Mississippi’s Holy Ghost Electric Show defies simple categories or comparisons. From roots set deeply in church music, this band brings diverse influences from rock, folk and country to create a sound all its own, with lyrics that don’t back away from challenging themes.

4. And the Echo
And the Echo craft high tech synth-pop out of their home base in Oxford, Mississippi. With a love of dark, ambient music and a theatrical approach to their onstage presentation, they are building a growing following.

5. Underhill Family Orchestra
The Underhill Family Orchestra blends Americana with rowdier Rock and Roll elements. Hailing from South Alabama, the band weaves rich storytelling into their songs, and aim to actively engage their audience at every opportunity.

6. NOTS
Emerging out of the Memphis scene, NOTS are writing a new chapter in that city’s rich musical history. Recording on the Goner record label, NOTS bring high energy punk rock with well-crafted songs.

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Kerry Thomas presents a captivating performance blending pop, R&B and neo-soul influences. Kick back and warm up to the songs that reflect on his life experiences.

9. Gilded Creatures
Emerging from the fertile musical scene in Oxford, Mississippi, Gilded Creatures layer thoughtful lyrics over melodic alternative rock, creating music that’s accessible without being afraid of experimentation.

10. Alanna Royale
Drawing from elements of throwback R&B, soul and pop, Alanna Royale brings a crowd-pleasing show to the streets in a high-energy performance.

11. Stoop Kids
Forged in the cultural melting pot of New Orleans, La, the Stoop Kids music defies simple classification. Drawing on influences as diverse as hip hop and doo wop, they create a fresh sound all their own.
12. Tawanna Shaunte
Tawanna Shaunte draws on deep roots stretching back to soul, jazz, blues and gospel traditions. Insightful lyrics reflect on both struggles and hopes, over beautifully arranged accompaniments, as she features songs from her “Freedom Agent” recording.
13. Young Valley
Jackson, Mississippi’s Young Valley brings the “twang” in this performance from the heart of their hometown’s Fondren neighborhood. The set features many of the songs from their “No Filter” debut recording.
