Overview

In the turbulent Chu dynasty, the Empress's son, Shen Ye, rebels to avenge his father and claim the throne for his beloved, Crown Prince Shu Cheng. However, Shu Cheng’s opposition to bloodshed forces Shen Ye to abandon his plans, leaving Chu vulnerable to invasion and rumors of Shu Cheng's death on the battlefield. Years later, Shen Ye, now a ruthless regent obsessed with finding Shu Cheng, is drawn out of hiding by a princess who resembles his lost love. Their reunion, along with the return of past friends, rekindles love, loyalty, and the inescapable pull of fate.
