First-timers Syler and Mo, family of six the Pierces, overdue mum Hermisha and same-sex couple Paul and Craig prepare for the arrival of their new babies.

Mo and Syler get to grips with round-the-clock feeding and sleep deprivation. Paul and Craig's surrogate Mel gives birth to their twins. Ezrah and Elijah come to terms with new rules.

The families find new ways to cope as the dads return to work. Mo feels pressure to earn more. Nigel is glad of the break. Hermisha doesn't want Shabazz's paternity leave to end. Paul and Craig say an emotional goodbye to Mel.
