Overview
The third series of The Grand Fishing Adventure goes up a gear and fully embraces what goes on sub-surface with Europe’s most popular fish, the carp, by going Underwater! Fishing maniac Ali Hamidi is joined by a team of underwater filming experts, led by diver Luc Boerrigter, to expose the myths and truths of what really goes on under the surface when carp fishing. Ali will be fishing alongside his long-standing angling partner and ex-pro footballer, Bobby Zamora and big carp angler - Roo Abbott. Ali and the lads get to fully immerse themselves in the underwater unknowns to find out exactly what lies beneath. Watch them scrutinise their different carp rigs and baits by viewing a mix of underwater “Livecams”, where they can watch the action play out as it happens live from the mission control tent, but also “Spycams”, which are placed then retrieved after the events, so a type of “Carp VAR”.

Ali Hamidi is joined by angling buddy Roo Abbott and diver Luc Boerrigter at Chase Lakes in France as they try to catch a carp in front of underwater cameras.
2. Grenville, UK
Ali Hamidi, Bobby Zamora and Roo Abbott head to Grenville in the UK - the Lake of Dreams - to try to catch a potential British record carp on underwater cameras.
3. Iktus, France (Part 1)
Ali Hamidi and Bobby Zamora head to the mighty Iktus in France for the first part of a two-part mission to catch a koi each and a team carp of 50 pounds or more.
4. Iktus, France (Part 2)
The final part of Ali Hamidi and Bobby Zamora's mission at Iktus in France kicks off on the cameras as the lads try to catch a koi each and a carp of 50 pounds or more.
