Authorities raid a puppy mill and a trainer is sent in to rescue the most traumatized dogs -- some driven to the brink of madness. A Lab mix faces a mysterious illness, and two sibling pups are rescued from a sect that routinely shoots unwanted dogs.

A trainer rehabilitates a dog almost put to death for biting an infant, two puppies are rescued from a garbage dump, and an old chow may have a brain tumor.

Rescues include a bulldog puppy, a painfully shy spaniel, a Rottweiler with allergies, and a vizsla that may be ready for placement after 11 years at DogTown.
