Overview
In season 1, as Hezekiah finds fortune and fame through the art of pugilism, he attracts the attention of the infamous Queen of the Forty Elephants, Mary Carr, who sets about exploiting his talents to further her criminal enterprise. Meanwhile the menacing and self-declared emperor of the East End boxing world, Sugar Goodson, determines to destroy Hezekiah whose ambitions to fight in the West End threatens everything he has built. What ensues is a battle of the old world against the new.

Hezekiah and Alec arrive in London to make their fortunes and meet the alluring criminal, Mary Carr.

Hezekiah and Sugar's rivalry takes root, as Mary steps up her heist plans.
3. Episode 3
A bombing shakes up Wapping, disturbing Hezekiah and threatening Mary and Sugar's plans.
4. Episode 4
It's the night of Mary Carr's heist and all the pieces are in place, including Hezekiah and Lao.
5. Episode 5
As Hezekiah rises in the boxing world, Mary suffers from the fallout of Lao's actions at the heist.
6. Episode 6
Reeling from shock, Hezekiah prepares for his title fight whilst the noose closes in around Mary.
