Overview
Wayang legend, Oon Ah Chiam suddenly finds herself on the down and out when her marriage gets unexpectedly cancelled, and she is left without a Wayang family after being banished by her previous troupe. She struggles with her lifelong "curse", and begins a new journey into the unknown world of movies and the realm of Bangsawan, all while in search of a place to belong.

1. Phoenix Crashing
Ah Chiam goes in search of a new troupe to join after her wedding gets cancelled. Suan Jiah, the leader of an all-women Wayang troupe, lends a helping hand. But she hides an unspoken past that even her troupe members are unaware of... Meanwhile, hotshot filmmaker Vijay, struggles to make the next big Pontianak film with his frequent lead actress, Iffah.

2. Rise Of The Twin Butterflies
Twin Butterflies struggle to find new performance opportunities, yet Ah Chiam's unconventional proposals prove unpopular for Sio Bee, who contests Ah Chiam's ideas at every possible chance. Can Ah Chiam convince the troupe to stage a taboo play, infamous for bringing deadly misfortune?

3. Revenge Of The Murdered Son
Discouraged by objections for his new ideas, Vijay sees no meaning in pursuing his career as a film director. Iffah and her father's relationship worsens as he fights to preserve the art of Bangsawan. Sio Bee confronts her past, and agrees to stage the cursed play. For the first time, Twin Butterflies is receiving media attention - but before they know it, misfortune strikes on the night of the performance...

4. Not Herself
Twin Butterflies is launched into prominence, but Suan Jiah's memories are plagued with a dark past that she is unable to reconcile with. Pak Johan's eyesight worsens, while Iffah struggles to find ways to help the Bangsawan troupe. Meanwhile, Ah Hock and his boss Anita begin to see each other in a new light...

5. Bye Bye Baby
Suan Jiah's unstable mental state and outbursts drive Ah Chiam to find out who the mysterious Kian Huat is. Iffah is struggles to learn about Bangsawan, while trying to helm a troupe much more experienced than herself. Repaying Vijay's kindness, Ah Chiam agrees to help Vijay on his new movie idea. But while Ah Chiam might be a Wayang star, can she figure out how to act in front of the camera?

6. The Hardest Tea To Drink
Pak Johan's eyesight is beyond repair, and Iffah is hard-pressed for time to stage the play. Ah Chiam's old injury brings Ah Hock to tell Ah Chiam about his new relationship. Twin Butterflies falls into mayhem when Suan Jiah disappears. The sudden news of a death just before the Bangsawan performance leaves Iffah in helpless and in shock...

7. Leap Of Faith
Twin Butterflies get a wonderful opportunity abroad with the help of Kit. Vijay is thrown out from the studio, and Kit soon discovers a truth that turns his life upside down...While Ah Hock and Anita grow closer, Ah Chiam's hip injury threatens her ability to walk in future. With the fate of Twin Butterflies' future on her shoulders, will Ah Chiam heed the doctor's advice, or take the risk and perform just once more?

8. Destinies
Ah Hock and Anita plan for their special day, with Ang Di's blessings. Vijay discovers that he has disappointed his biggest fan and supporter all these years, and strives to make things right. Sio Bee is left to lead the troupe on her own as Ah Chiam decides to take a break from Wayang. Just as Ah Chiam decides to leave Singapore, Ah Hock meets with an accident…
