The family father Øystein is missing after a ski trip on Kattfjordeidet in Troms. Susanne and the rescue dog Spiff rush out on a demanding search operation.

The little puppy Nano has moved home to Maria and Jan in Tromsø. The dream is that he will become a rescue dog. But does he have the qualities he needs?

Merete and the disaster dog Erox search from a boat. It brings back painful memories, and Merete knows that disaster can strike at any time.
