Overview
Twenty-five years after it first premiered, Survivor continues to prove both the ultimate test of physical and mental will, as well as the adventure of a lifetime, for castaways stranded on the beaches of Fiji and tasked with forming a new society, adapting to their surroundings and navigating an unpredictable social game to ensure their torch stays lit. The players competing on the 49th season are diverse competitors armed with fresh perspectives and a fervent passion for the game, with the same ultimate goal: to claim the title of Sole Survivor and win the $1 million prize.

1. Act One of a Horror Film
Eighteen strangers are abandoned on the islands of Fiji with the chance to win $1 million; tribes must claim victory in the grueling marooning challenge to earn essential camp supplies; castaways are chosen to face off with a huge reward on the line.
2. Cinema
Reality and hunger begin to take their toll as the castaways grapple with their limited resources to find food on the island. Generational differences come into sharp focus as some castaways find it challenging to keep up with the younger players’ current lingo. Then, a never-before-seen disadvantage appears in the game during this week’s immunity challenge.
3. Lovable Losers
An unprecedented medical emergency leaves the castaways shaken. A second beware advantage is found in the game, and it's finder must earn their vote back before it’s too late.
4. Go Kick Rocks, Bro
An unexpected shakeup shifts the castaways' game trajectories in an all-new direction. Teammates must rely on one another to succeed in a grueling immunity and reward challenge.
5. I'm a Wolf, Baby
One castaway's scheming gets them into hot water when their tribe realizes the same conversation has been repeated to each of them. Two castaways are sent on a grueling journey. Then, one castaway’s series of missteps leaves one of their tribemates hungry for revenge.
