Following her first exhibition at the Decorative Arts of Strasbourg, the body of a rising star in the Alsatian art scene was found lifeless. The investigation leads to an employee of the Foundation who reported a money laundering network involving the artist's works. The whistleblower soon becomes the victim of a widespread online harassment campaign, following a mistake by Vanessa, who publicly revealed his identity. Can we truly protect these everyday whistleblowers when the virtual world seems to escape all legislation?

A Franco-German journalist and blogger, who came to cover the "500 Nocturnes" (a famous Alsatian car race), is found murdered in the middle of the bridge spanning the Rhine. Justine is forced to team up with a German judge who directs the investigation in a direction she doesn't like at all.
