The Texas Wheelers

The four motherless Wheeler kids are managing, watched over by the eldest Truckie. The father Zack, who disappeared years ago, returns but still seems irresponsible. Doobie refuses to go to school so Truckie must change his mind.

Doobie gets a date with a pretty classmate and friends suggest he watch a porn film to learn the "facts". Double quickly quits watching and asks hos brother Truckie instead.

Truckie is on the warpath when he discovers a dent in his truck. He is determined to make someone pay and his suspicions land on Zack who used the vehicle the night before.

When a tornado approaching Lamont Truckie takes the kids to safety in town. Zack and Doobie are forced to ride out the storm in the basement of the family home.

Truckie falls hard for the local librarian but learns she has dreams that involve moving away.

Zack discovers a pile of junk and after being told it's worth something, conducts a sale. But he accidentally deposes of daughter Boo's music box and the family frantically tries to get it back.

Zack is determined to return to Superstition Mountain and locate the Lost Dutchman mine. Daughter Boo insists on going with him.

Truckie is tired of working multiple jobs plus chores at home to support the family and decides to go on strike.
