BBC Young Musician is a televised national music competition broadcast biennially on BBC Television and BBC Radio 3.

1. Strings Final
Five outstanding young string players compete to reach the final of BBC Young Musician 2022, under the watchful eyes of judges Jennifer Pike, Philip Dukes and Anna Lapwood.
2. Woodwind Final
Five outstanding young woodwind players compete for a place in the grand final under the watchful eyes of judges Emma Johnson, Karen Jones and Anna Lapwood.
3. Brass Final
Five outstanding young brass players compete for a place in the grand final under the watchful eyes of judges Ben Goldscheider, Anne McAneney and Anna Lapwood.
4. Percussion Final
Five outstanding young percussionists compete for a place in the 2022 BBC Young Musician grand final under the watchful eyes of Paul Philbert, Beibei Wang and Anna Lapwood.
5. Keyboard Final
