Biography

Marshall Aaron Mayer was an American announcer and commentator, best known for his work in professional wrestling, radio, and advertising. He worked as an announcer and commentator for various wrestling promotions, including WWE, AWA, WCW, and Women of Wrestling (WOW!).

In WCW, he was known as "Stagger Lee" and participated in major events such as Uncensored 1996 and World War 3. He was also an announcer for WCW Thunder and worked alongside figures like Bobby Heenan.

In addition to his wrestling career, Marshall was a prominent figure in radio, working at stations in Los Angeles and Phoenix, and appeared in the music video We’re All in the Same Gang. He was also the voice of Tony the Tiger in Frosted Flakes commercials from 1999 to 2014.

Marshall passed away in 2014 at the age of 64 from esophageal cancer, leaving a significant legacy in wrestling, radio, and advertising.
